We made a trip to Colonial Williamsburg on December 8 and 9, 2001, so we could see the colonial Christmas decorations. The period reenacted by the guides is the winter of 1774, just before the dissolution of the colony government and the first meetings of the Continental Congress. The colony is still British, so you'd see British flags and the guides are loyal to the crown.
This is the magazine where the gunpowder and weapons for the protection of the colony were stored. The building was constructed in 1715. The wall was constructed sometime between 1754 and 1763 during the French and Indian war.
