I revisited the Hampton National Historic Site in Towson, Maryland. My previous trips were 7 years ago. I visited on May 25, 2009, and the new pictures are pictures 45 - 63. I was able to take interior photographs of the mansion.

I made a trip to Chesapeake City on August 18, 2007, and took these pictures. I made another long driving trip to Moorhead, Minnesota and took these pictures of the Moorhead Regional Science Center river and prarie on September 4, 2007.

My son and I took a trip to Columbus, Ohio for the Pokemon Trading Card Game National Championship. While we were there, I took pictures of the Red, White, & Boom celebration of the Fourth of July the night of July 1st. On our way home from the tournament the morning of July 4th, we stopped at Ohio Caverns and took some pictures there.

I added seven pictures that were taken December 2001, on a trip to Jamestown, Virginia. This was the last vacation I took with my wife before she died. The only reason I found these pictures is that I was redesigning the Jamestown pages and tried to find the original picture of the map and description of Jamestown.

I spent the day in Fredericksburg Virginia, November 7, 2004, another stop on my George Washington tour, while my son competed in a Pokemon trading card game tournament in nearby Aquia. Fredericksburg has more historic buildings than any other city, from the colonial period through the Civil War era.

My son and I took a trip to Columbus Ohio, June 24 - 27, 2004 so he could compete in the Pokemon National Trading Card Game Championship. On the way to Columbus, we stopped at Sideling Hill, approximately 33 miles west of Hagerstown or 6 miles west of Hancock in Washington County Maryland for a brief rest.

I had a chance to visit Valley Forge National Historical Park, Pennsylvania, as a part of my George Washington tour. It was a cold, rainy day, which put me in the mood of those who camped there. I hope to get back on a nicer day.

I finally had a chance to visit Mount Vernon, Virginia, during President's day weekend and in March. I hope to get back in the summer and get pictures of the plants and shrubs.

I migrated the web site from Bizland to NightSkyHosting to have more room for expansion and access to CGI programming with Python. I'm sorry that it's been so long since I've updated the web site, but my wife Patricia died on September 24, 2002, and I have chosen to spend more time with my 13 year old son.

We found the Hampton National Historic Site in Towson, Maryland, about three miles from where my son plays the Pokemon card game on Saturday afternoons. We visited twice, on June 1 and June 8, 2002. We hope to get more pictures this fall and winter.

We've added pictures of a Mardi Gras parade in Shreveport, Louisiana. We've redesigned the main index page to make the places to visit choices clearer on monitors smaller than 800 x 600. We've changed the thumbnail pages to reload when the page is resized for easier thumbnail viewing.

We have a limited number of pictures for viewing at the present time.  We're testing out the site, to see if you like it, before we add additional pictures.  We're experimenting with different types of link lists, to see what would work better with a large number of pictures.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for improving this website, please e-mail us and let us know.  We hope to add a bulletin board to the site in the future.
