Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor Picture 4 of 9
The statue is 152 feet, 2 inches from the base to the top of the torch. 250,000 pounds of steel support the statue, while 179,200 pounds of 3 / 32 copper sheeting cover it. Liberty's dress, if it were cloth, would be about 4,000 square yards of material.
Liberty is holding a tablet in her left arm, with the inscription "July 4, 1776" in Roman numerals.
